Pain

Pain in his lower back has been, since coming to the Center, the biggest challenge whenever he is learning new things.  I think with a combination of the right medicines, time, and many prayers from so many people, his pain is being conquered.  Today he was able to lay on his back several times without significant pain.  When he was sitting on hard surfaces today in the gym area, the pain was better.  The one place it remains problematic is, unfortunately, when he is sitting in the wheelchair (though even that is better than 2 days ago).  This prevents him from being upright for more than 1 hour at a time.  The PTs and OTs are trying to problem solve with him why this might be.  PLease continue to pray that this lower back pain will be reduced to a level that he can eat sitting up and spend more of his day in the wheelchair.

  2. You have been in our prayers since we heard the news. Andy has been keeping us updated and we were happy to see this blog, so that I can stop bugging him :).

We will continue to pray for a speedy recovery!

    God Bless!
