Quiet Day July 18th

The goal today was to relax and be pain free to be ready for the MRI tomorow. When I got here around 3:00, I would say that the goal had been met. His spirits were good and he was medicated enough to be comfortable. Yeah! His mom visited him for the first time before I came so that was good too. They have asked me to be here early tomorrow so I can speak to his physician team. Please keep praying.

  2. Hi Nancy,
I was talking with Rose and we going to plan a trip to Eugene to visit Lynn sometime this week. We'll try to visit after 4pm. My hydrangeas are in full bloom; Do you think he would like some pretty flowers for his room? Just wanted to make sure he isn't allergic... If you have anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate; errands, cleaning, laundry, gardening, cooking... really anything. We live so close and I want to help your family any way I can. Of course, I will continue to pray for Lynn, his family, his doctors and the people helping him get better.
The last time I got to talk to Lynn one on one was at Foster school he was reading with the second graders and I was subbing. He was glowing because he was really enjoying retirement. In addition. he told me he wouldn't want my job. Substituting, funny guy...Lynn isn't afraid to give his opinion:)Thats one of the traits I admire about him the most. He also is very devout in his faith and because of this he is invincible. I am not telling you anything you don't know but I just wanted to share that with you anyway.
    Love in Christ

  3. Was talking with Nick Tyler tonight and he asked me to please let him know if there is anything "BIG" that needs to be done at your place. He would be happy to put a crew together and get it done with plenty of manpower. If you can think of anything, let us know. Also appreciation from all of us who love you goes to Steve Thorpe for the mowing at your house the other day. You are loved and as you know, continually in our prayers.
